New to this sixth version of Portfolio are a number of features that make it a more powerful and intuitive application. A key new feature is FolderSync, which allows you to keep your Portfolio catalogue synchronised with "hot folders", whether they be on your computer or on removable disks. With synchronisation working in two directions, you can modify the contents of any hot folder and the changes will be reflected in your catalogue, or you can move, modify or delete images from within Portfolio and the corresponding changes will be made to your stored files. Another new feature is Portfolio Express. This stand-alone mini-application gives you a floating palette from which you can select images to place in any other application, such as Photoshop or a word processor.
